It was an early October morning in 1986 when long-time friend (and then head baseball coach at Treasure Valley Community College) Rick Bauman and I were pheasant hunting outside New Plymouth, Idaho. The two of us were always good at talking through and solving the worlds problems, but on this day Rick had a problem we couldn’t solve. He had just gotten word that TVCC’s baseball program for the next spring was going to be underfunded and he needed to find a way to raise the additional money needed for the season. Parting ways that afternoon I told Rick to let me think on this for a couple of days.
Today, TVCC is our longest standing customer, having been with M&R Sales for 29 consecutive years. Every fall they sell around 2400 cases of oranges and grapefruit in Ontario, Oregon and surrounding Treasure Valley area; raising upwards of $30,000.
My wife, Robyn, and I help hundreds of teams and organizations raise money they need to fund their program every year. We are a family owned and operated business, and proud of our longstanding commitment to service, quality, and profitability.
