It was an early October morning in 1986 when long-time friend (and then head baseball coach at Treasure Valley Community College) Rick Bauman and I were pheasant hunting outside New Plymouth, Idaho. The two of us were always good at talking through and solving the worlds problems, but on this day Rick had a problem we couldn’t solve. He had just gotten word that TVCC’s baseball program for the next spring was going to be underfunded and he needed to find a way to raise the additional money needed for the season. Parting ways that afternoon I told Rick to let me think on this for a couple of days and that is the story of how The Orange Guy came to be.
Its hard to believe that thirty-plus years later my wife Robyn and I are still helping school groups and teams fundraise. We are a family owned and operated business, and proud of our longstanding commitment to service, quality, and profitability.
Coaching is tough. While the cost of high performance continues to rise and funding becomes more uncertain, you still have to put in the hours on and off the field to build a winning team. We understand you. After all, we’ve been helping coaches like you for over 30 years.
Our mission is simple. We are here to help school groups and teams raise the money they need to be successful. And our 250+ customers would say we’ve done just that.
We’re big enough to help solve your biggest fundraising problems and small enough to hear your frustrations and challenges with raising money.
